PDF Converter 5.7
Gestion documentaire
This module performs PDF conversion for a wide range of document formats (doc, xls, ppt, odt, docx, xlsx, xlsm, pptx, ...). It is based on:
OnlyOffice, using its latest maintenance release, running as a service.
New in version 5.7:
- Default conversion service: OnlyOffice (replacing OpenOffice).
- Detection of password-protected files upon import → such files are no longer sent for conversion.
- Removal of the former global property to enable/disable PDF conversion.
- Deprecation of
jcmsplugin.pdfconverter.openoffice.jodwebservice.urlin favor ofjcmsplugin.pdfconverter.service.openoffice.jodwebservice.url(the former remains functional for now but will be removed in a future release).
Point of attention : the service account used for conversion (named OnlyOffice by default) must have read access to all documents on the platform. In the case of workspaces with Private or Secret access, this prerequisite may not be met by default. See the Documentation section for details on the issue and the workaround procedure.
