What does this module offer?

Contributors can access a space with a DISPLAY menu and various filters.

The DISPLAY menu allows collaborators to view :

• the list of their drafts and the drafts they are involved in from "My Drafts", which is active by default.
• the list of public drafts, their drafts and the drafts they are involved in from "All Drafts" and
• the list of all draft templates from "All Draft Templates". 

To help them find an existing draft in a list in the display menu, employees can use the following filters:

• a keyword search
  a filter by date range
  a filter by workspace

With one click, employees can select a draft. They can then

• open it to edit it or simply view it
• vote
• post a comment
• use all the features offered by the platform for a given piece of content.

The Draft.io module enables employees with creation rights to

• create a new draft from the application home page:
  • selecting a draft template with keyword search facility 
    • choice of an existing template from among those proposed by Draft.io or created in-house
    • choice of a blank draft.
  • Entering information :
    • Workspace
    • Title
    • Description (optional)
  • Selection of participants and whether or not to restrict visibility and editing of the draft to participants only
    • members
    • groups
    • external persons (enter e-mail address).  External participants only have access to the draft.

• create a custom draft template. The template then appears in the "All draft templates" list (DISPLAY menu).
  • Editing the template
  • Create a new draft from a template by selecting the template
    • from the "All draft templates" list 
    • in "Internal templates" when adding a new draft

The creator of a draft is its manager:

• He adds or removes participants
  • from a draft interface
  • directly from the open draft
• It enables or disables comments

No need to leave the platform to use the tool: with one click, the application launcher gives employees access to all the existing drafts that they are entitled to view and modify. Thanks to the filters and lists available, finding a draft is child's play. A real time-saver! 

What's more, the draft is platform content, and as such benefits from all the features that go with it: socialising and suggesting improvements via voting and comments (if enabled), distributing drafts via sharing, adding to favourites, etc.

The draft creation interface for easy draft creation, participant management and visibility

When creating a draft, employees are not disorientated because they find the platform's creation interface. To help them quickly select a model from among the many suggested by default, a keyword search is a great help. Entering participants is made easier by the predictive search for members and groups. A selector can be used to make the draft visible and editable by everyone, or to restrict access to participants.

Access to the participant management space to facilitate collaboration on the draft

Once the draft has been created, the list of participants can be accessed and modified from the draft publication page, as well as when editing the draft.

Internal participants are notified of their participation in the draft.

External participants receive an access link by e-mail, valid for 30 days.

Create your own templates for ready-to-use models

The module enables new templates to be created. Employees can create their own templates from scratch, or choose to start from a default template and adapt it to their needs. Customised templates can be found in the "All Draft templates" list in the "DISPLAY" menu. Simply select the desired template and generate a new "ready-to-use" draft.

For those who prefer to use the "Add a Draft" function, the customised templates are grouped together under "Internal templates".
