JGame 1.0

JGame is a gamification framework for JPlatform. JGame proposes game design elements to introduce game play based, among other things, on the features and contents of JPlatform.

With JGame, motivate and make your users progress by giving them challenges. These challenges can take various forms: fill in your photo on your profile, go to a page of the site, vote on contents, publish a certain type of content, find the answer to a question, scan a QR Code, ... JGame exploits all the JPlatform functionalities and it is possible to propose challenges on specific functions such as "finish a task" (JTask module), "follow a knowledge" (JLearn module), "suggest an idea" (Conversation Spaces module), "relay a content on social networks" (Employee Advocacy module), ..

JGame is ready to use. You don't need to develop anything to use it. You can also import existing games and export your own games to share them on other JPlatform sites.

If you want to develop your own games, JGame requires a design work to build a "game design" that is engaging, motivating, progressive and of course fun.

There are different methods that exist and that are described in the different books on gamification:

To design a game, there is also a work of illustration (the visuals of the challenges and missions, the badges and the possible QRCode and clues) which is not to be neglected.

JGame is also extensible and offers an API to trigger achievements on your own events.
