With the Directory plugin, you can find quickly the right person and contact her instantly !

When should I use this plugin ?

Your missing an information and you are looking for the right person to contact ni order to get it ?
This module lets you find quickly the person you are looking for by searching by name, lastname, title, but also by jobtitle, by hierarchical position or even by skill group (languages, soft skills, programming language…)

Once you find the right person you get on his profile page where you have access to multiple contact methods.

What does the plugin offer ?

Directory Functions + Enriched profile :

• Look for co-workers : by name, by title, by jobtitle, by geographical place.
• Look for a person through the organizational chart
• Navigate and zoom in to the organizational chart
• Doing cross searches (skills + name)
• Getting quick access to the co-workers informions, with his hierarchical positionning through the organizational chart

Having all the informations at one place

With the Directory Plugin you do not have to look at multiple places for a certain information. The Directory is synchronized with your Active Directory and the informations are updated by the persons. For example using the skills provided in the ESN plugin.

Having multiple search methods

You can lookup any contact on the platform by his name or other search criterias such as skills or hierarchical position.

Directory Portlet

This plugin includes the Directory Portlet to search for member's info (email, phone, address, ...)

The user can search for people by name, firstname, company, and e-mail address. When Jalios ESN is installed, the search is extended to the user profile information: field of expertise, interests, training, career, etc. In collaborative spaces the Directory Portlet can be configured to manage only the members of this particular space.

The Directory Portlet allows two views depending on the usage context:

• Reduced view: display in a column or on the Virtual Desktop,
• Detailed view: a full-page display (e.g. in a collaborative space).
